In accordance with the provisions of La. R.S. 29:730.3, a curfew was previously issued on August 25, 2020 for ALL of Iberia Parish, Louisiana, including the municipalities of Delcambre, Jeanerette, Loreauville and New Iberia. That curfew is hereby modified beginning Friday, August 28, 2020 to exist from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and to continue during those time periods on each day thereafter until rescinded or terminated. All other terms and conditions of the previous curfew shall remain in full force and effect unchanged and effected by this Modified Curfew Notice.
This curfew prohibits and/or controls pedestrian and vehicular traffic, except essential emergency vehicles and personnel. The curfew does not apply to anyone going to and from their place of employment for purposes of work or any other critical or essential business activity as specifically defined by the United States Department of Homeland Security, Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency.
