Being accessible to citizens is a priority of Governor John Bel Edwards. In keeping with that commitment, the Governor's Office of Constituent Services has begun a new initiative, Constituent Services on the Geaux.
Being accessible to citizens is a priority of Governor John Bel Edwards. In keeping with that commitment, the Governor's Office of Constituent Services has begun a new initiative, Constituent Services on the Geaux. This is an opportunity for staff from the Governor's Office to meet with constituents face to face while offering assistance with questions and concerns relative to state government.
Constituent Services on the Geaux. has dates and times scheduled to visit each parish in the state through 2017-18. It is our hope that constituents come out to meet and discuss issues with our staff when we visit your parish. Some examples of issues we can assist with range from child support, flagged driver's license, veteran's affairs and other state agency related concerns.
Our office is soliciting your help to get the word out to the people you serve by announcing our visit through social media, websites and list serves for your local community.
Constituent Services staff will be available to assist citizens of Iberia parish on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 1:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Parish Court Building, 300 S. Iberia Street; New Iberia, LA 70560.
