Iberia Parish - Port RD (between S. Lewis and Commercial) - Road Closing - 1/16/2019 For more information contact: Herman Broussard
Iberia Parish President M. Larry Richard would like to announce the closure of Port Road, between South Lewis and Commercial Drive, at the railroad crossing on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at approximately 7:00 am. This closure is necessary for the Railroad Company to perform repairs on the railroad crossing. Based on the information provided by the Railroad Company, the road is anticipated to be reopened by Monday, January 21, 2019 at approximately 7:00 am, weather permitting
No through traffic will be allowed until the completion of the job. Traffic will be detoured from Highway 90 Frontage Road to South Curtis Lane and from South Lewis Street to South Curtis Lane. Iberia Parish Government apologizes for any inconveniences that this closure may cause.
