Under general supervision, operates equipment and maintains water production, treatment, and distribution ensuring quality and quantity to meet Parish customers demand. Operates with substantial independence. Operates chemical feeders, agitators, pumps and related equipment. Conducts regular inspections on equipment. Job requirement includes working around toxic chemicals under varying weather conditions. Records pertinent information and makes proper computations. Participates in the proper delivery, transfer and usage of chemicals in water treatment. Assists in maintaining compliance with various Louisiana State Department Laws. Class 3 Certiciation Required. Reports to Plant Manager.
