The Iberia Parish Government is developing a Capital Improvement Road Program to provide

and maintain serviceable roadways. The Capital Improvement Road Program is a planned

approach for treating pavements to maximize the useful life of the roads. The objectives of the

Capital Improvement Road Program are to lower rehabilitation costs over time, and to better

estimate and plan future expenses. The most obvious benefit of the Capital Improvement Road

Program is the extension of the life of the pavement, the ability to predict and plan future costs,

and the reduction of user delays and user costs, so that the parish constituents will get to their

destinations on time over safe and well-maintained roads.
