Please be advised that Waterworks District #3 of Iberia Parish will engage in repairs on the distribution pumps at our water plant. Repairs are scheduled to begin Monday, March 4, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WATER PRESSURE WILL BE SHUT OFF AT 9 AM AND REMAIN OFF DURING THESE REPAIRS.

As a precautionary measure, a boil advisory for Waterworks District #3 is issued on Monday, March 4, 2019 starting at 9 AM until further notice.

Once repairs are completed, to ensure water safety and quality, water samples will be sent to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (LDHH) for testing. Once LDHH has completed its testing and the results are confirmed, notification of the lifting of the boil advisory will be issued.

Residents may be affected by their water being temporarily shut off or they may experience low pressure. Residents should prepare by storing potable water (drinking water).
