Iberia Parish President M. Larry Richard would like to announce the closure of Melancon Road to accommodate additional parking on Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 1O:OOa.m. - 5:00p.m. During this time Melancon Road will operate as a one-lane, one-way road and can only be entered through the Coteau Road side, Hwy 88, and exit only through Captain Cade Road side. The Louisiana Laos New Year Festival parade will commence at 12:30p.m. - 2:30p.m. At that time Melancon Road will be blocked off entirely.
Iberia Parish Government apologizes for any inconveniences that this closure may cause.
