From the National Weather Service in Lake Charles:
As of 7 am Thursday, the National Hurricane Center has increased the chances for tropical development in the Gulf of Mexico to a high 80%. This system will move northeast and miss our region, but we do expect to see tides run above normal through the weekend. You could see some minor coastal flooding during high tide.
