Iberia Parish – The NWS forecasts severe thunderstorms passing through Iberia Parish between 6AM and 9AM Saturday, with a 0% chance of large hail, 5% risk of tornadoes and a 15% chance of damaging (75MPH) winds. Here is the NWS forecast summary for Louisiana and Texas:
Strong to severe storms are expected, mainly after midnight tonight through 9 am Saturday.
The highest tornado risk is in east Texas and central Louisiana, but the damaging wind risk extends across all of southeast Texas and central, south central, and southwest Louisiana.
