In accordance with La. R.S. 29:730.3, I, M. Larry Richard, Iberia Parish President hereby declare a parish wide curfew beginning today, April 1, 2020, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00a.m. for all of Iberia Parish, including the following municipalities: Delcambre, Jeanerette, Loreauville and New Iberia.
This curfew will remain in effect until 12:00 midnight, April 30, 2020, unless earlier rescinded or extended. The curfew prohibits and/or controls pedestrian and vehicular traffic, except essential emergency vehicles and personnel. This curfew does not apply to anyone going to and from their place of employment for purposes of work or any other essential business activity as specifically defined by the United States Department of Homeland Security, Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency.
