Iberia Parish – From the National Weather Service: Some showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop late this afternoon and evening. The focus area will be east Texas and parts of southwest and central Louisiana. Damaging winds, large hail, and lightning will be the primary hazards. Another round of strong to severe storms is expected Sunday morning through the early part of Sunday afternoon. The highest risk area is in central Louisiana. Strong EF2+ tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail and lightning are all possible.
