Iberia Parish will continue its compliance with the Governor’s Proclamation No. 2020 JBE 41 which can be found at (Link to Stay At Home Document) . As such, we remain under a statewide order in which we have been directed to stay at home unless performing one of the essential activities described in Section 2A of the Governor’s Proclamation. Furthermore, all gatherings of ten (10) people or more have been ordered postponed or cancelled. These directives are extremely important. The stay-at-home order and adherence to the practice of social distancing have helped to slow the spread of COVID-19. However, we cannot become complacent and let our guard down without risking a spike in COVID-19 cases resulting in further business disruptions. Therefore, after consultation with state and local health officials, law enforcement and members of the business community, I am recommending the following Operational Procedures for Employers here in Iberia Parish (Iberia COPE).
