We understand this weather event has severely impacted many of you across the state. It is important for us to utilize any federal assistance possibly available to help with recovery. We encourage you to complete a self-reporting damage survey to help the state identify damage impacts in each region and to help emergency management officials at the local and state level gain a better understanding of the damage due to the intense weather conditions this week.
Reporting damage to GOHSEP is extremely important, but voluntary. It does not replace reporting damage to your insurance agency. This is the first step in the recovery process and does not guarantee disaster relief assistance.
