Iberia Parish – FYI, the Weather Service is forecasting a hard freeze Saturday night: The National Weather Service is forecasting much colder conditions beginning on Friday and continuing through much of next week. Here are several items to note:
- Hard freeze conditions will be likely across much of the area Saturday night and Sunday morning.
- Daytime high temperatures will be mostly in the 40s through the weekend. Temperatures will reach into the 50s on Monday, but colder conditions for Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Be sure to take actions to protect outdoor animals, pets, plants, and exposed pipes. Be careful with space heaters indoors during the cold weather.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms will accompany a cold front moving through the area this evening. After tonight, a drier weather pattern is expected through late next week. |
