Recycling in Full Swing

We are proud to announce that Recycling Services are currently underway in the unincorporated areas of Iberia Parish! ...

Residents living in the unincorporated areas of the parish now have the opportunity to participate in our curbside recycling service. If you would like to participate and have not previously signed up via our website, please click on the blue can below to register for our “2nd delivery” of cans.

Residents that requested a recycling can on Iberia Parish Government’s website prior to July 6th, should have received their can by now. If you have not, we would ask that you please re-enter your information again, paying special attention to inserting your Lot # information. After completion of the 2nd delivery, residents requesting a can will have to pick up their can at the Public Works facility on Avery Island Road.

Attached to all recycling cans is a plastic bag with papers inside. These papers advise residents which zone they are in and the exact pickup dates through the rest of the year. The literature also lists all items that are acceptable for placement in the recycling can. More information regarding acceptable items is available on The Recycling Foundation’s website. See the Route Map and Pickup Schedule on our homepage for information on collection days and routes.

Recycling cans must be placed curbside by 4 a.m. for collection on their particular collection days.

We truly appreciate your patience during the “can-delivery” stages and as we all become accustomed to this new service.
