The National Weather Service is monitoring three hurricanes, none of which pose a problem for us locally.
Katia is a category 2 hurricane in the Bay of Campeche, and will make landfall in Mexico later tonight or early Saturday, possibly as strong as a category 3 hurricane.
Irma is a category 4 hurricane in the Bahamas, and will make landfall in south Florida on Sunday. Irma is expected to make landfall in Florida as an extremely dangerous major hurricane, and will bring life-threatening wind impacts to much of the state regardless of the exact track of the
Jose is a category 4 hurricane in the Atlantic, and will remain out in the Atlantic through the middle of next week.
