* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE…Portions of central, south central, and southwest
Louisiana, including the following parishes, in central Louisiana,
Evangeline and St. Landry. In south central Louisiana, Lafayette,
Lower Iberia, Lower St. Martin, Lower St. Mary, Upper Iberia,
Upper St. Martin and Upper St. Mary. In southwest Louisiana, Lower
Vermilion, Northern Acadia, Southern Acadia and Upper Vermilion.
* WHEN…From Thursday morning through Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– A tropical disturbance moving slowly across the northern gulf
will produce long duration periods of potentially heavy and
training rainfall Thursday through Saturday. Rainfall totals
of up to 15 inches will be possible in some spots within the
watch area.
