Councilwoman Lady Fontenette Brown, representing Iberia Parish’s District 12, has been elected President of the Louisiana Police Jury Association Black Caucus (LPJA – BC), showcasing her strong commitment to community service and marking a pivotal moment for equal representation in Louisiana’s political arena.

Brown brings a fresh perspective to her new role, with a background in mental health advocacy.

Drawing inspiration from former District 10 councilman, Mr. Eugene Oliver, who also once served as President of LPJA-BC, Brown eagerly anticipates introducing innovative ideas to the Parish.
