The National Weather Service predicts severe weather for much of SE Texas and SW Louisiana.
Severe weather will be possible tonight into Friday morning as a cold front moves through the region. Damaging wind is the highest threat, but large hail and tornadoes are also possible. In addition to this, there is a risk of flash flooding.
While much of Acadiana is expecting severe weather tonight, Iberia Parish is under a marginal risk. Residents should remain vigilant tonight and into Friday morning.
Another system is forecast to come into our area Sunday through Tuesday. This system brings a risk of flooding.
