The National Weather Service Lake Charles advises that an area of low pressure will move along the gulf coast today producing another round of widespread heavy rainfall generally south of Hwy 190.
Iberia Parish has the possibility to receive additional rainfall totals of 2-5 inches in addition to rain that has already fallen. Iberia Parish will remain at risk for severe weather today and Thursday with a few storms capable of large hail or strong winds.
