We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Brandon John Migues as the incoming Director of the Iberia Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (OHSEP). Brandon will begin working alongside our current director, Prescott Marshall, in a training capacity until Prescott’s retirement early next year. At that time, Brandon will officially assume the role of director, following Prescott’s many years of dedicated service.
Brandon Migues brings a wealth of experience in the field of emergency management, operations, and logistics, making him an ideal candidate to lead our parish in these crucial efforts. His strategic planning and emergency risk management skills have been honed through years of service in various leadership roles, most recently with the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP), where he currently serves as Regional Support Director.
As we prepare for this transition, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Prescott Marshall for his years of service. Under his leadership, Iberia Parish’s emergency preparedness has strengthened significantly, and I am confident that Brandon will continue building on this legacy of excellence.
Please join me in welcoming Brandon Migues as our new Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. We look forward to his leadership as we work together to keep Iberia Parish safe and resilient.
