Iberia Parish President M. Larry Richard announces that Labit Road between Captain Cade Road and Forum Drive will be closed to thru traffic beginning Monday, May 22nd for construction.
The road is anticipated to be opened by Monday, June 19th, weather permitting.
Traffic will be detoured onto Captain Cade Road to LA 182 (Old Spanish Trail Hwy) to LA 92-1 (Smede Hwy).
Iberia Parish Government apologizes for any inconvenience that this closure may cause.
