The National Weather Service (NWS) in Lake Charles has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for Iberia Parish. This advisory is in effect from 9:00 PM Sunday to Noon Monday and again from 6:00 PM Monday to Noon Wednesday.
A Cold Weather Advisory indicates that temperatures and/or wind chills are expected to drop to 20°F or lower. Prolonged exposure to these conditions can result in hypothermia.
