Iberia Parish remains under a Flash Flood Watch through Thursday evening. Thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall over the same areas, leading to several inches of rain in a short time and increasing the risk of flash flooding.
The National Weather Service Lake Charles is still predicting total rainfall amounts between 3 to 8 inches, with isolated areas possibly receiving up to 12 inches. There is also a 5 to 15 percent chance of large hail and damaging winds in the parish.
Please continue to monitor local forecasts and stay weather aware.
