The National Weather Service continues to forecast freezing and windy conditions for Iberia Parish Tuesday and Wednesday mornings with a low temperature of about 24 degrees and a dangerous wind chill of about 12 degrees Tuesday morning, and a low temperature of about 18 degrees and a dangerous wind chill of about 10 degrees on Wednesday morning.
Because the cold air is arriving faster than forecast, the National Weather Service has updated the probability of scattered icing on bridges in Iberia Parish tonight from 20% to 50% from freezing drizzle late Monday night and Tuesday morning.
No such risk exists Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
