The National Weather Service is forecasting that Iberia Parish will experience scattered, severe thunderstorms beginning at noon today into the evening.
These scattered severe thunderstorms will be followed by a complex of severe thunderstorms between 8PM and Midnight.
Hazards for these storms include:
- 2-4 inches of rain
- A 30% – 44% chance of 60 MPH wind gusts, and a 10% or greater chance of wind gusts over 74 MPH
- A 15% – 29% chance of severe hail, with a 10% or greater chance of hail over 2 inches in diameter
- A 5% – 9% chance of a tornado within 25 miles.
