Waste Connections is suspending garbage collection services in Iberia Parish on tomorrow, Thursday, January 23, 2025. Please refer to their official statement below:
“Waste Connections values the safety of our employees and communities. Waste Connections will not run garbage collections routes on Tuesday, January 21, Wednesday, January 22, and Thursday, January 23 due to icy weather conditions. The routes that normally run on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will not be recovered until next week Jan 28, Jan 29, and Jan 30. All other routes are expected to resume Friday, January 24, 2025 if weather conditions permit. Waste Connections hopes all employees and communities are safe and protected during this time.”
Residents are advised to secure garbage carts to prevent hazards.
