Iberia Parish is continuing to expect a long duration rain event beginning today and continuing through Thursday evening. Rainfall totals of 4-8 inches are expected across the region with up to 12 inches possible in a couple of areas.
A Flood Watch remains in effect from 1 PM this afternoon through 7 PM Thursday. All forms of severe weather will be possible including a marginal risk of tornadoes, 15-29% chance of damaging and a 5-14% chance of hail. Severe weather is most likely from early this afternoon through late evening. The severe weather threat will largely end late tonight and while rain will continue both Wednesday and Thursday, organized severe weather is not expected.
