Monitor for Leaks and Conserve Water During Freeze

Please be aware that the freeze is not over yet, as we expect temperatures to drop again tonight. Be mindful of water usage, as leaks have already started appearing across the parish, and more are likely to develop.

Field personnel will be dispatched tomorrow, once the roads are safe for travel, to assist with shutting off leaks. If you detect a leak at your home, locate the shut-off valve near your home or in front of your meter. These valves are accessible to homeowners or tenants and can turn off the water supply to your residence.
