Due to severe weather on April 16, 2023, the Recreation District No. 8 Building (Ward 8) was damaged and will be unavailable for use by voters during the April 29, 2023 election date.
The La. Secretary of State, Elections Divisions, has approved the TEMPORARY* emergency change of this polling place location for this election. New registration cards will be mailed to all affected voters by the Secretary of State.

- DISTRICT 11, PRECINCT 1 / DISTRICT 11, PRECINCT 2 / DISTRICT 12, PRECINCT 2 will vote at the KING JOSEPH RECREATION CENTER, 701 HEBERT STREET, and citizens registered to vote in
- DISTRICT 12, PRECINCT 3 will continue to vote at the KING JOSEPH RECREATION CENTER for the April 29, 2023 election date only.
Citizens may EARLY VOTE at the Registrar of Voters Office, 300 Iberia Street – First Floor
New Iberia (369-4407) from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Tuesday, April 18th through Saturday, April 22nd.
Iberia Parish Government would like to thank the affected citizens for their patience and understanding with this temporary emergency change.
* This is a temporary change for the April 29, 2023 election date only; citizens will revert back to their original locations after said election date.
