The NWS Lake Charles is monitoring a line of severe weather that will arrive in Iberia Parish tomorrow evening (6pm-3am). There remains the potential for a few intense storms that may produce damaging winds and tornados.

Here is an update concerning the severe weather threat for Saturday 15 Feb 2025.
Overview:
WHAT: SLIGHT RISK of Severe Weather / damaging Thunderstorms
WHEN: 6pm Saturday – 3am Sunday
WHERE: Throughout Iberia Parish
CONFIDENCE: Confidence is high that severe thunderstorms embedded within a line of storms will develop throughout the day Saturday into the early hours of Sunday morning moving west to east across Louisiana.
Confidence is high in the timing of this line of thunderstorms as it arrives in our area Saturday afternoon/evening into the early morning hours of Sunday.
Impacts:
Damaging Winds: Damaging winds remain the most likely threat with wind gusts greater than 60 mph. Winds of this magnitude are capable of causing damage to trees and power lines.
Tornadoes: Stronger storms in front of the squall line are possible and could produce a tornado although a slight risk
Rainfall: Low Risk of Flash Flooding
