The National Weather Service Lake Charles has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Iberia Parish until 5:30 AM.
This storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail, which may result in damage to vehicles, roofs, siding, and trees.
Residents are advised to stay off the roads if flooding occurs and avoid all contact with lightning by remaining indoors.
