Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Glenn Lege Construction, LLC will adjust the South Lewis Street road closure between Oil Center Drive and Briarwood Drive in New Iberia.
Crews will replace a drain culvert between Oil Center Drive and Regal Drive, and South Lewis Street will remain closed to thru traffic for approximately ten days, weather permitting.
Detours for businesses and residents will be updated as work progresses. Motorists are urged to follow all detour signage and use caution when traveling through the area.
