The NWS Lake Charles 1:30 update indicates that the threat for Iberia Parish will be the temperature in the 20’s with a wind chill in the single digits on Monday and Tuesday mornings. The timing for the incoming showers preceding the low temperatures has shifted further into Sunday. Although Ice accumulations risks remain around 20%, rain that may have fallen could freeze over and cause road conditions to become hazardous.
