From Iberia Parish President M. Larry Richard – Today, I had the opportunity to meet with key stakeholders, developers, and local officials to discuss the growing need for affordable housing in Iberia Parish. While our community continues to see economic growth and new opportunities, the demand for quality housing remains a challenge, particularly for seniors and mixed-income families.
Developers are eager to invest, and we must work together to create opportunities that support sustainable housing development. By fostering collaboration between government, businesses, and community leaders, we can take meaningful steps toward addressing this need and ensuring that residents have access to the homes they deserve.
Today’s meeting reinforced the importance of taking action. Iberia Parish is positioned for growth, and we are committed to finding solutions that will strengthen our community for years to come.
