Iberia Parish President M. Larry Richard would like to announce that DOTD will be closing LA Hwy 182 between the intersections of LA 3212/Northwest Bypass and LA Hwy 88/Coteau Road, beginning 9:00 AM tomorrow, Thursday, September 7, 2023, in order to complete the cleanup operations resulting from the derailment on August 21st.

The closure should be lifted sometime tomorrow if no issues occur.

Residents and businesses located inside this closure may enter with proof of address.
