From the National Weather Service: For the last day of May we have a potential for severe storms and excessive rainfall that may lead to flooding and then another potential, albeit a lower one on Saturday.
Today we are looking at the possibility of two thunderstorm complexes. The first arriving mid to late morning moving through into the afternoon, then another late this afternoon into the evening.
Damaging straight line wind gusts along with a few quick spin up tornadoes, will be the main hazards, along with high rainfall rates that may lead to flash flooding.
