Last month, Iberia Parish President M. Larry Richard, along with members of the Iberia Parish Council, toured the Iberia Medical Center (IMC) North Campus to witness the exciting advancements taking place in local healthcare. With an $11.6 million investment, IMC is expanding its services to enhance patient care and better serve the growing needs of Iberia Parish residents.

Key improvements include the expansion of the Medical-Surgical Unit, the Adult Psychiatric Unit, and the Emergency Department, as well as the addition of advanced diagnostic imaging and PET/CT services. These enhancements are not only focused on improving healthcare access but also on creating jobs and strengthening the local economy.

The expansion of IMC North Campus reflects a commitment to providing high-quality, specialized healthcare close to home. With these improvements, Iberia Parish residents will benefit from increased access to emergency care, rehabilitation, imaging, and other essential health services.

As IMC continues to grow, the impact on our community will be significant, ensuring that residents receive top-tier care when they need it most. The future of healthcare in Iberia Parish is brighter than ever, and we encourage everyone to learn more about these transformative developments.
