Iberia Parish Government advises motorists beginning on Monday, February 23, 2026, Glenn Lege Construction, LLC will start road improvements on the following road in Iberia Parish:
- Monnot Road – starting at Admiral Doyle Drive to a point 1330’ north of Admiral Doyle Drive.
This section of roadway will be completely reconstructed. The existing surface will be removed and a new roadway base installed. The remaining portion of Monnot Road to the Jeanerette City Limits will be patched by a separate crew in the near future. After this is completed, the entire roadway will be overlaid.
Working Time – 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday and possibly on Saturday. The reconstruction portion of the construction is expected to last approximately 3 weeks, weather permitting.
