From Iberia Parish M. Larry Richard – It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of our esteemed 16th Judicial District Attorney, Bo Duhé. He was not only a dedicated public servant but also a trusted colleague and a dear friend. His unwavering commitment to justice, fairness, and the well-being of our community made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working with him.

Bo Duhé was a man of integrity, one who led with wisdom, compassion, and a strong sense of duty. As a district attorney, he understood the weight of his responsibilities and approached every case with thoughtfulness and fairness. He was firm when necessary, yet always carried a heart for the people he served. His leadership in the legal field and his dedication to improving our judicial system will be deeply missed.

On a personal level, I cherished the professional relationship and friendship we shared. When I decided to run for Iberia Parish President, Bo was one of the first people I consulted because I knew I wanted a strong legal team by my side. His guidance and support throughout my time in office have been invaluable.

Beyond his role as District Attorney, Bo was a person you could trust. One who offered sound advice and genuine support. I will always remember the heartfelt conversations we had, the wisdom he shared, and the unwavering friendship he extended to me.

Bo Duhé’s legacy will live on, not just in the courthouse but in the countless lives he impacted through his service. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. Iberia Parish has lost a true leader, and I have lost a great friend.

Rest in peace, Bo. Your service and dedication to our community will never be forgotten.
