Tropical Storm Francine is forecasted to hit the Louisiana coast as a category 1 hurricane. Iberia Parish residents should expect winds in excess of 75 mph, 6 to 8 inches of rains with isolated areas receiving as much as 12 inches. In addition, they are predicting storm surge values between 5 to 10 feet in the southern parts of the Parish.
