The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is advising of a strong Arctic front moving into Iberia Parish this evening into Monday morning. Temperatures are expected to drop into the 20s and may remain there for up to six hours.
A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from 6:00 PM Sunday through 10:00 AM Monday, and a Freeze Watch has also been issued for the same period.
Please take precautions to protect people, pets, plants, and pipes. Remain weather aware and continue to monitor your local forecast for updates.
