Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to recognize the importance of mental health and the need to have open conversations about suicide prevention.

This is a serious subject that can still be difficult to talk about, but starting the conversation and recognizing the signs early can make a difference.

I was honored to join our Behavioral Health Team at Iberia Medical Center in recognizing Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and helping bring awareness to this important issue in our community.

Let’s continue to look out for one another, speak up, and remind those around us that they are not alone.
