We are pleased to announce that Mr. Brandon John Migues has been sworn in as the new Director of the Iberia Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (OHSEP). His term will officially begin on January 17, 2025. The swearing-in ceremony took place this morning at the Iberia Parish Courthouse and was conducted by the Honorable Judge Roger P. Hamilton, Jr.
Brandon brings extensive experience in emergency management, operations, and logistics to this role. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership positions, most recently serving as Regional Support Director for the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP). In that capacity, he excelled in strategic planning, emergency response coordination, and risk mitigation, earning recognition for his effective leadership during complex challenges.
We are confident that he will uphold OHSEP’s legacy of strong leadership and effective management. His expertise and commitment will undoubtedly enhance Iberia Parish’s efforts to remain safe and resilient in the face of emergencies.
