With the latest updates showing Hurricane Francine moving further east of our area, Waste Connections has announced that they will resume trash collection services tomorrow, Thursday, September 12th, across all service areas. However, please be aware that there will be a later start time to ensure the safety of their employees, as there may still be low-lying trees and power lines.
Additionally, trash collection will not occur on any flooded roads. Tomorrow’s pickups will cover Wednesday’s routes, and we will run one day behind schedule for the rest of the week, with Friday’s collection taking place on Saturday.
Please report any road closures to help keep everyone safe.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this time.
