The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is still expecting scattered showers and thunderstorms to start Wednesday afternoon, mainly in southeast Texas.
The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is still expecting scattered showers and thunderstorms to start Wednesday afternoon, mainly in southeast Texas. This activity will move into western Louisiana in the evening hours, and reach south central Louisiana after midnight. The threat for strong to severe storms is increasing for our entire region. Isolated tornadoes and damaging winds are the primary threats. In addition, one to three inches of rain is expected. (Iberia Parish is considered South Central Louisiana)
