IMPACTS: Showers and thunderstorms, some strong to severe.
All hazards (damaging wind gusts / large hail / tornadoes) remain possible, but the primary threat will be damaging wind gusts.
Heavy rain may also result in ponding of water on roadways and in low lying areas.
WHERE: Highest confidence in hazardous weather impacting interior east TX and central LA, with lower confidence in portions of southeast TX, southwest LA, and south-central LA.
WHEN: Chances increase by late Monday evening, with the best chance of impactful weather overnight into Tuesday morning.
